In 2021, OSHA began updating its Hazard Communication standard (HazCom) to continue conforming with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). The revision also allows for the alignment of certain provisions with Canada and other U.S. agencies and addresses issues that have developed since implementation of the 2012 standard.
